The LP Brevard announces that we will
now be meeting at Memaw's Barbecue on
Eau Gallie Blvd in Indian Harbor
Beach.
July 7, 2005:
The City Council of Palm Bay fails to
endorse Deputy Mayor Anderson's motion
to amend the city charter to strictly
limit eminent domain powers by the
city.
June 2005:
A special meeting of the LP Brevard was
held to address the Real ID act.
The LP Brevard welcomed representatives
from other concerned local activist and
civic groups. The basis for a
coalition to fight the Real ID act was
formed. The FLoridians
Opposed to the Real ID Act (FLORIDA)
organization was born at this meeting.
May 28, 2005:
The Florida LP votes unanimously to
support the LP Brevard proposal to
promote, defend, and urge NULLIFICATION
of the Real ID act by the state of
Florida Legislature. See our News
